Good results of International Cultural Tourism Fair press trip

La Quinta playing host to Benahavís Senior Masters

In October, La Quinta Golf & Country Club will become the seat of Benahavís Senior Masters, an official PGA European Senior Tour event. Unfolding from 16 to 18 October, the tournament will gather over 72 of the best senior golfers in Europe, including Manuel Piñero, José Rivero, Víctor García, Sam Torrance, Costantino Rocca, and Juan Quirós. It is the first time in the tournament’s history that the organisers have chosen the outskirts of Marbella to host it.

Church of Virgen de los Remedios in Estepona

In San Francisco square, in the town centre, the Church of Virgen de los Remedios stands out. Its huge, four-level tower –one of whose sections features two-colour tile ends– can be seen from every point in town. Built in the eighteenth century, the church used to be part of a Franciscan convent that was dismantled, among many other religious buildings in Spain, after the 1835 confiscation.
