Sohail Castle
Strategically standing on a mountain, the Sohail Castle was inhabited by the Phoenicians, the Carthaginians, the Romans, the Arabs, and the Christians. The building we can see today is an Arab fortress built in the early years of the invasion of the Iberian Peninsula. It lies on the foundations of an older Roman fortress. |
