Costa del Sol’s Golf in Scandinavian Masters
Representatives of the Costa del Sol Tourist Board’s Golf Department attended a new edition of the Scandinavian Masters, held at the Arlandastad Golf Club in Stockholm, Sweden, from 14 to 17 August. As of 2008, the SAS Masters is the only European Tour event in Scandinavia. This is why it raises expectations every year. |

Hotel Occupancy Rate
In May 2008, 483,687 travellers stayed in accommodation facilities on the Costa del Sol. This is 7.83 pct more than in May 2007, when the region’s hotels accommodated 448,567 guests. |
