Tourist Cross-Border Movements (FRONTUR Survey) in 2006

According to this study, in 2006, 96.1 million visitors came to Spain, and 60.8 pct (i.e. 58.4 millions) were tourists staying for at least one night. (The study presented this week is only available in Spanish).

Number of Hotels – March 2007

In March, the province of Málaga had 70,614 hotel beds available. This was 1.8 pct more than in March 2006, when beds amounted to 69,389. Also, the number of hotels rose from March 2006 to 402 one year later.
