Chestnut Grove in Parauta
This municipality lies to the south of Sierra del Oreganal, reaching Valle del Genal and Sierra de las Nieves Nature Park to the east. It is here that Parauta’s Spanish fir woods can be found. The area combines rocky sierras with scarce vegetation and others with lavish plants and trees (chestnuts, holm oaks, pine trees, olives). To this we should add Sierra de las Nieves, of great environmental value. |
